THE CENTRE IS ELSEWHERE II (with Andrea Uváčiková & guest artist selection)

The artistic project The centre is elsewhere II by Klára Kusá and Andrea Uváčiková explores the current state of society,
in which the centre of balance is shifting from the collective sphere to the individual. The authors reflect on the pressure for individual responsibility, self-optimization, and constant performance, emphasizing that the “core of the problem” does not lie within the person,
but within the system that shapes these socio-economic demands. The exhibition connects archival material with interactive
interventions by selected artists. The authors invite them to actively enter the exhibition space, thereby disrupting the traditional hierarchy between author, artwork, and audience, and grounding the project in horizontal
collaboration among multiple participants.
