The project LAYERS II (Layers from exile) can be understood
as a form of travel archive. It maps a journey of the artist that
has decided to travel to Istanbul by bus. The archive serves
as a collection of images of a movement of the artist herself
that captures the environment focusing on the historical traumas
of the cities Budapest, Belgrade, Sofia, and Istanbul.
